A friendly Duel...Jeremy vs Nick

Jeremy stood across from his opponent and drew his first card. He smiled at what he had drawn and called out.

"I summon Manga Drago in attack mode"
Attack - 1400 defense - 600

"And I place two cards face down"

(ooc: that means I have 3 cards left in my hand)

Nick stood as he drew his first card.

"Nice move, but I'm afraid it won't do much good. I summon Shining Abyss in Attack Position."
Attack - 1600 Degense - 1800

"Next I activate Card Trader, allowing me to place a card from my hand, into my deck, shuffle it, and draw another each of my Draw Phases. Now go, Shining Abyss, attack his Manga Draco!"

(I have 4 cards in hand)

"That means I lose 200 life points." Jeremy said as he point counter dropped to 3800 and his monster was sent to the graveyard.

Nick lowers his arm. "My turn's finished."

"I draw" said Jeremy as he picked up his new card.

"I special summon Cyber Dragon in attack mode. And I play Monster Reborn to bring back my Magna Drago. Now I activate the spell card Sychro Boost and equip it to my Cyber Dragon. This card increases Cyber Dragons attack by 500 and increases his level by 1"
Cyber Dragon - Attack 2100+500=2600/Defense = 1600
Magna Dragon - Attack = 1400/Defense = 600.

"And sense you have no spells or traps on the field I have no worries doing this. Cyber Dragon, attack Shining Abyss, and Magna Drago, Direct Attack. You lose 2400 life points and when Magna Drago deals damage his attack points increase by 200. But he wont be staying long because no I sacrifice my Magna Drago and my Cyber Dragon in order to summon my Stardust Dragon"

Stardust Dragon - Attack = 2500/Defense = 2000

"I end my turn"

(ooc: I have no cards in my hand and only my stardust dragon and two face down cards on the field.)

"I draw...and activate Brain Control. Now by paying 800 life points, I get to take conrol of one of you monsters until the end of this turn...and I chose your blue eyes toon dragon. Now Stardust Dragon...Direct attack...End this duel."

Jeremy returned his cards to his deck and gave the toon dragon back to Nick.

"I may have won, but your a good duelist, with a little practice you could be great."

Nick looked at his Dragon. He stood up and nodded. "You're amazing...you beat an Obelisk Blue-Level Duelist. Altough I'm in Slifer Red, I deserve to be in Blue." Nick placed his cards in his deck. "I look forward to seeing you at the Academy."

Jeremy held out his hand to shake his opponents hand. Normally he hated other people, but duelist were not the same and he respected anybody that put themselves out there and had fun when they dueled.

Nick shook Jeremy's hand. "Just remember, I'll get better, and the result may be different next time!" He said sounding serious, but smiling.
