waiting for freinds

jewel stood in the hall of the dorms her sketch book in hand. "hmm" she thought as she looked around. waiting for someone she knew to walk by.

Nick in his Ra uniform walked by Jewel. "Huh? Hi Jewel, what are you doing here?"

she shrugged. "just looking around," she said as she played with her fingers.

she shook her head. "nope.." she said with a sad note to her voice.

kurai suddenly appears out of no were "Jewel-chan!!" she yells as she runs at her cousin.

haru blinked looking at her smiling. "hi! how are you? when did you get here?" she said kind of as if she wasn't upset.

Kurai stops in her tracks. "why are you sad?!" she says as she tilts her head and puts her hands on her hips.

jewel blinked. "what are you talking about?!?! i'm not sad!" she said tilting her head in the oppostie direction and placing her hands on her hips. "why didnt you answer my questions?"

kurai blinks then says "Sorry, i'm fine and i just got here!!! this place is HUGE!!!"

A masked and hooded figure appeared in the distance. Slowly, he walked until he was only a few feet from where the three friends stood. The hooded man pointed to Jewel and the card she had been given by the chancellor began to glow.

"I challenge you to a duel, and If I win then that card is mine." said the man in a deep voice.

A black duel disk appeared on his arm and the deck inside had darkness shrouding it.

jewel blinked. "do i have to duel you?" she said. she took out a duel disk and placed her deck into the duel disk. "okay i'll duel you and lets hope i win this duel"

Kurai blinked looking from Jewel to the hooded figure.

"I'll go first. I draw...and Summon Planets Surface - Frozen Tundra in defense mode. Then I place two cards face down and end my turn"

jewel nodded drawing. "i summon, angel of the pure snow! in attake mode and place a card face down." she said as she smirked. "i end my turn!"

angel of the pure snow= atk/1200 def/1600

"My turn...I activate my Frozen Tundra's special ability and destroy your Angel. Then I summon Planets Surface - Thick Forest in defense mode. Now I Activate the Field Spell Red Galaxy. This card lets me look into your hand once each turn and discard you monster lower then level 8. So reveal your hand to me so I can destroy you further."

jewel cursed. "this is what i get for being a sad duelist." she said as she titled her hand so he could see her cards. in her hand was

temptaion of angels-spell card
angelic vail-trap card
sad angel- level 4
angelic vail- trap card.

"why are you dueling me again?" she said looking at this hidding figure.

"I am dueling you on the orders of my master. I must retrieve the cards so he can unseal the Underworld cards. Now I discard your sad angel and I activate the spell Travel by Lights. This lets me return my Thick Forest to my hand and summon forth Great Planet - Red. Now Great Planet - Red attack her directly)

jewel cursed as she looked at him* "who is your master?" she said growling slightly.

she gave him a cold stare as she looked back at her cousin

The attack hit Jewel and her life points dropped to 1500

"All will be revealed soon enough. As for now, all you should be thinking about is this duel. I end my turn."

Kurai is standing behind Jewel, a supprised/ exited/ worried look on her face.

jewel nodded drawing a card. "i play flower angel!" she smirked. "now you have to play with you hand reveled. and everytime you draw a spell card i increase my life points by 1000" she smirked looking at him.

im tottaly going to loose this duel, geeze

"i end my turn"

The hooded man drew his card after revealing his hand.

Planets Surface- Thick Forest

and the card he drew was...Overcome by Gravity - a spell card

Jewel life points increase to 2500.

"It matters not...for I will win this duel this turn. First I activate the special ability of my Planets Surface - Frozen Tundra to destroy your Flower Angel. Now, Great Planet - Red. Attack her directly and end this duel."

jewel growled. "just tell me one thing who is your master?" she said as she got hit directly her life points dropped to 0. she took out her deck and placed it in the velvet cloth. "thats all i want to know before i give you this card" she said holding up the card.

The hooded man held out his hand and the card appeared in it.

"I have won and now I shall be on my way."

Just as he said this Jeremy came running from the distance, yelling at the hooded man.

"Hey, get back here. Im not done talking to you yet." Jeremy yelled at the top of his lungs.

The hooded man simply smiled and disappeared.

When Jeremy reached where they were he was completely out of breath.

"What...happened....did....you....duel....him?"
