Jeremy's Secret

"I don't know who these cards are for yet, they have to chose. But if it does turn out to be you I'll let you know."

Then Jeremy turned to the rest of the students that were still laughing.

"You should all be ashamed of yourselves. Nick loses one duel and you start to laugh. You all make me sick!!!"

He then started to walk to the red dorm to see Nick and check that he was okay.

jewel followed. "people are just mean like that..." she said smiling slightly. "i'm sure he'll be okay.. but you are a good freind jeremy-kun" she said following her hands behind her back as the wind blew her hair a bit.

Nick sat in his dorm room with hundreds of cards scattered throughout the room. "I've gotta redeam myself! I need a new deck! There's no way people will let me forget that I lost that one time...before the school year even started!" He said, slamming his hands on the desk, some of the cards falling to the floor.

"Hello mate, mind if i join you??"

Jeremy walked up to, and knocked on, Nicks door.

"You in there man. I need to talk to you."

jewel leaned back and fourth on her feet. "do you think he is okay? i mean it was just one lose.. though the laughing had to hurt." for once she did not smile, she just stood there looking at jeremy.

Walks fastly past jeremy and into the room "Dude its one lose, its not the end of the world. I've lost to him already but i laughed at myself he's a great duelest" he had a smile on his face rembering that cool duel he had

Jeremy walked into the room and felt to briefcase pulsate and he knew that Renjiro was the person these cards were meant for, but he couldn't give them to him while others were around.

"Nick, I was just lucky. I got a great hand and my deck is pretty powerful. Your not a bad duelist and those people had no right to laugh at you. I bet you could beat any one of them."

jewel hugged nick. "yeah i bet you could!!" she said smiling some. as she wrapped him in another warm hug. "cheer up!" she said.

Nick stood up and walked towards the door, leaving his half-constructed deck on his desk. "That's exactly the thing, Jeremy...in Battle City, I was one of the best duelists there...And the thing is...most of them knew me. And when I lost, they apparently thought I was just a fluke...I'm outta here." He said walking out of the door. "It's too crowded in here, anyway..."

he looked surpirsed at nick. "Well if your going win poeple will want you to fall from glorey but anyway see ya" he walked out teh room and down teh stairs and then sat on the grass by the building

"Jewel, you follow Nick and see if you can bring him to his senses, I have something I have to take care of. Renjiro, I need you to come with me."

jewel nodded "yes jeremy-kun!" she said dashing out of the building and up to nick taking in deep breaths.

"you sure you going to be okay?.." she looked at him. "i mean come on it was one lose, you'll get stronger and then you'll be able to beat him! and you should start preparing for that day!" she said hugging him tightly. "so what you say? wanna go umm get something to eat? what do you say?food will cheer you up!"

Nick slips out of Jewel's arm. "What'll cheer me up...is some time alone..." Nick said as he started walking once again. "I won't be attending the Welcome Feast...so don't expect to see me there."

HE stopped and then walked besides jeremy. "So what was it you wanted" he said while walking next to him as he walked

Still inside Nicks room, Jeremy walked over and closed the door, locking it afterward. He then set the briefcase on the table.

"I need your loyalty. I have been planing to come here to duel academy for many years now. You see. Somewhere on this Island there is a deck that I want. It was hidden shortly after being created and I want it. And if you follow all my orders I will give you these rare cards."

Jeremy opened the case and revealed the cards inside.

jewel blinked placing her hands on her hip. "hmph!" she stomped her boot onto the ground. "men! can't do a thing about them!" she crossed her arms turing on her heals. "there all shameless" she said as she walked off in the opposite dirction as nick, she didn't want to deal with any man at this moment , she was tottaly just blown off.

Nick sits on the edge of a cliff. I'm no going to be the laughing stock like last year...

"Fine where is this so called deck of cards? and i want in on them too if you want them so bad"

Jeremy slammed the case shut with the cards still in them and locked it.

"If you are going to try and take the cards then these will stay with me. That deck is for me to find and use and when I do I will rule this world. Now if you want them so bad then you will have to duel me. Or you can simply take these cards I have in this case and help me to find the Underworld cards that I came here to find. "

jewel blinked looking around as she frowned she sat down on a near by bench and took out her sketch book and begun to draw this time she was drawing someone, not cards, she smiled a bit more as she contuied to draw this person her smile growing more and more.

Nick decides that he should go to the welcome feast, so he stood up and walked back to the dorm.

"Well ill help just as long as im in this new 'World' you speak of" he reaches out his hand for the breif case

Jeremy unlocked the case and handed the cards inside to Renjiro. He then closed it and locked it again. He opened the door and turned to Renjiro.

"Tell nobody about this discussion. Nobody is to know. I am going to the welcome feast and you should as well. We need to keep up appearances so that people do not suspect what is going to happen."
