History: Katsu was born into a family with an average amount of money. One day one of Katsu's friends showed Katsu Duel Monster cards and taught him how to play. Every time Katsu got money after that he would instantly go to the card shop and buy as many card packs as he could. After playing Duel Monsters for a few years Katsu had a duel with and adult that was searching for talented duelers. Katsu beat the chalenger with some difficulty and then was told that he was allegible to enter Duel Academy. The adult turned out to be one of the teachers there that was searching for kids to join the school. Katsu was placed in Slifer Red after joining the school.
