Kurai vs Nick

Nick stands across from Kurai in the duel arena. "Don't expect me to hold back Kurai! I'll go first!" He said, shuffling his deck, placing it in his duel disk, activating it, and drawing six cards. "First, I'll summon Ancient Gear Soldier in Attack mode! (ATK/1300 DEF/1300). Then I'll activate Ancient Gear Fist! Now any monster that battles with Ancient Gear Soldier is destroyed immediately after the damage step, then I'll put a facedown and end my turn!"

Kurai nods as she sets her deck and draws her cards. "wouldn't expect you to hold back! I play a card face down and end my turn!"

Nick draws a card. "I'll draw...I activate Ancient Gear Castle! Now all Ancient Gear monsters gain 300 Attack and Defense points (Ancient Gear Soldier ATK/1600 DEF/1600). Then I'll sacrifice Ancient Gear Soldier to summon Ancient Gear Engineer (ATK/1500+300=1800 DEF/1500+300=1800), therefore giving my Ancient Gear Castle a counter, then I can do this! I activate 7 Completed and increase my Gear Engineer's attack by 700 (ATK/2500) Now Ancient Gear Engineer! Attack her directly! Oh, and did I mention that when an Ancient Gear monster attacks, you can't activate Trap Cards, so you lose the lifepoints, and when my Engineer attacks, I can destroy a spell or trap card, so I destroy your facedown, then I'll lay a face-down of my own and end my turn!"

"shoot..."she mumbles as she life points go down. "oh well.. i draw. okay i play Lightning Vortex. then discard one card from my hand and destroy all face up monsters on your field! then i end my turn!"

"aww man... I'm ganna loose...." she lets out a sigh "oh well, i guess its my draw. i activate heavy storm!" she lets out a sigh. "then i summon gemini elf, then sacrifice them to summon dark magician! then i play a card face down and end my turn..."

Nick blinked as Aegis of Gaia was destroyed and he lost 3000 LP, making him at 4000 again. "Why didn't you attack? You coulda won if you kept that up...I draw. I activate my last Ancient Gear Castle, then I'll summon Cyber Dragon with it's effect, then I'll sacrifice my Ancient Gear Castle and Cyber Dragon since my castle has one counter and summon my Ancient Gear Golem! Now Attack! Mechanized Melee!! And remember the effect of Ancient Gear Monsters, no traps allowed! I'm afraid you lose!"

she drops her head "i'm such an idiot..." with that she hits her forehead, really hard.

Nick walks up to Kurai. "You're not an idiot, Kurai. You just need more practice is all."

She shrugs "i guess your right...." she lets out a sigh.
